Eligibility Criteria

16 years of education, Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm/Pharm-D) from a Pharmacy institute recognized by Pharmacy Council of Pakistan. /MBBS/BDS. Min CGPA 2.5 /4.0, or minimum marks 50% marks in annual system. GAT/HAT General/TUF Entry Test with minimum 50% score.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective of M. Phil Pharmacology program is to provide in-depth independent research experience in a specific area of pharmacology. The program is designed to provide students the opportunity to acquire knowledge in pharmacology, to conduct an original research project, to analyze data, and to write a thesis. Students will also receive essential training in research professionalism and scientific communication

ROLE AND SCOPE

• Our postgraduate degree program in pharmacology will provide a solid foundation in biomedical sciences and prepare individuals for a wide range of career options.

• Pharmacologists study the physical and chemical properties of drugs, their biochemical and physiological effects, mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic and other uses.

• The students typically find employment in universities, hospitals, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, private and public research organizations, consulting companies, and government agencies, both with in Pakistan and abroad.

• Pharmacologists will explore drug interactions in biological systems, the formulation and operation of clinical trials, as well as drug regulation and the marketing of pharmaceuticals.
