• To empower the students to comprehend foundation of biological systems and their inter-relationships on chemical and molecular basis.
• To develop the scientific culture and demonstrate professional skills in teaching and research in various national and international organizations.
• The scope of biochemistry in Pakistan is high. Biochemists can work both in public and private sectors.
• After obtaining the BS degree in Biochemistry, the graduates will be able to get jobs in wide range of fields including research organizations, education sector, hospitals, agriculture, food institutes, forensic research, pharmaceutical industry and many more fields.
• They can work as research scientist, research associates, clinical scientist, biomedical scientist, laboratory technician, educationists and many more professions.
