Assistant Professor & above (Computer Science)

Job Description

An Assistant/Associate/Professor is an experienced academic and broadly equates to the level expected in a comparable university. An Assistant/Associate/Professor is expected to make a strong contribution to teaching, research and service in the Faculty and University. He or she is also expected to maintain and develop activities relevant to their profession or discipline.

• Plan, develop, and deliver Undergraduate and Postgraduate modules in areas relating to Health/Art Sciences, especially (but not limited to) subject related
• Assess students and stimulate them to have the opportunity to be engaged and challenged
• Design appropriate assessment methods and ensure established standards are maintained and timescales adhered to
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to students and other stakeholders and advise on areas of concern and suggest improvement
• Supervise Undergraduate and Postgraduate dissertations and/or projects relating to Health Sciences, especially in the areas of specialization
• Carry out research and scholarly activities in Academic Health/Arts & Social Sciences, especially in the areas of specialization and other related tasks assigned

Requirements

PhD in Computer Science with experience as prescribed by HEC.
