Department of Medical Education, UMDC organized a workshop on “Planning and Designing Quantitative Research” on January 25, 2020. This workshop intends to help beginner researchers to acquire the knowledge and aptitudes of conducting a quantitative research venture through lectures, practical examples, interactive sessions and hands-on exercises. This course is especially valuable for health analysts who are at the phase of making planning for a quantitative research project.
While speaking to the participants, Prof Dr Fatima Mukhtar, PhD Public Health, working as Professor of Community Medicine at Lahore Medical & Dental College, provided a comprehensive understanding of the nature and relevance of quantitative research methodology in health and social sciences.

Speaking to the participants, Prof Dr Tanzeela Khalid, Director Medical Education UMDC, encouraged the scholars to come out with standard work by adopting quantitative research methods. The session was attended by faculty members of UMDC and TUF.
