“Kashmir Solidarity day” was observed in TUF

To mark “Kashmir solidarity day” a seminar was held in The University of Faisalabad. It was organized to express all out support of Pakistani nation for Kashmiri people for their right of self-determination and against the atrocities by Indian forces on innocent civilian population of Indian occupied Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion Prof Dr Zahid Masood urged the international community, UN and human right activists to take notice of the grave human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir. Prof Dr Haji Aslam stressed the importance of restoring peace in the region. Students also spoke on this occasion and showed their deep concern on blatant human right violations in Indian occupied Kashmir. Moreover, one minute silence was observed. Seminar was followed by a walk to express solidarity with Kashmiri people. Walk led by Muhammad Haider Amin, Chairman Board of Governors TUF, Prof Dr Muhammad Saeed, Pro Rector Health Sciences wing and Ms Zahida Maqbool, Additional Registrar. In the seminar held in Engineering wing Prof Dr Zahir Javed Paracha, Pro Rector expressed his views to show solidarity with innocent Kashmiri people.
