Objectives

Role and Scope

•PhD degree in Islamic Studies will widen career options including existing opportunities in public and private sector educational institutions.

•This program is designed to produce such teachers and prepare scholars to initiate dialogue in Islamic perspective.

•This program will ensure the young researcher to participate in the human world that inherits from older generation and to live a good life.

•It is largely beneficial to nation builders.

•This is an advanced level studies for students waiting for their future learning, their proficiency as professionals and their selection and promotion in their field.

    10 Semesters (5 years)

  • Eligibility

    16 Years of Education, BS/MSc or Equivalent degree from HEC recognized university with minimum 3.00/4.00 CGPA in semester system or 60% marks in Annual system. All the applicants having MS/MPhil or Equivalent degree (16 Years Education) may be given waiver in coursework as per HEC policy. A Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test administered by the Education testing Service, or a graduate admission test administered by the Education Testing Council, or an equivalent TUF test developed by TUF is mandatory to pass. For the interview, the applicant shall also be required to submit a ‘Statement of Purpose’
