National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign created annually in March. On 28th March, 2017 School of Nutrition and Dietetics celebrated this event as a Nutrition Festival, with the Theme of 2017 which was “Put Your Best Fork Forward!”.
This event was inaugurated by a welcoming note from Dr. Saira Tanweer. Afterwards our external guest Dr. Beenish Israr, shared a lecture on “Medical Nutrition Therapy for Cancer” with the students. This session was ended by the Thank you Note from the Head of School of Nutrition and Dietetics; Prof. Dr. Syed Jawwad Husain. Festival included different segments, including Documentary Competition, Quiz Competition, Model Competition and Best food Stall.
