Eligibility: Intermediate or equivalent (with Mathematics) having 50% marks. The candidate will have to qualify the Interview test.
Location:: Health Sciences Wing (Female) and Engineering Wing (Male).

Introduction: The programs focus on software developments,  networking and designing and provides the students with in depth technical skills and hands-on approach and practice to enable them to start their career with confidence This four years degree programs provide the students with extensive knowledge on business applications and are designed to equip them with necessary latest technical skills to meet the requirements in the businesses.  The students will combine their academic study with practical work in well-equipped and specious laboratories,  often working in groups to develop teamwork and communication skills.


  • To prepare the students to achieve proficiency in software development,  problem analysis,  software design and the use of programming languages and Aims to provide the students with substantial knowledge of a broad range of problem-solving techniques which includes Algorithms and design techniques
  •  To demonstrate understanding of the core areas of Algorithms, Theory of computation,  Operating systems languages and architecture
  • To enable the students to apply concepts of discrete and continuous mathematics,  as these are applied to the domain of computer science and Information Technology
  • To develop strong communication skills with due emphasis on the tools of effective writing

Location:: Health Sciences Wing(Female) and Engineering Wing(Male).

Program Description: Software engineering is the discipline of creating high- quality software  systems  in  a  systematic,  controlled and efficient manner. It involves the application of engineering concepts, techniques, and methods to the design,   development,   deployment   and    maintenance of software systems. A software engineering program develops professionals who have a mastery of principles, theory, practices, and processes necessary to produce quality software systems.

Program Objective: The objective of the program is to prepare students for professional careers and for graduate studies in software engineering. With a balance between computing theory and practical application of software engineering concepts including software project management, methodologies, tools and technologies in the modern software  development  environments.  Graduates  of such a program will be able to function as proficient software developers and effective team members. They will have grounding  in  communication,  mathematics and science, and the cultural, historical, and social issues that influence and effect or relate to the development of high quality software systems. They will have knowledge of and experience with software product engineering and engineering management and an understanding of professional issues and practices. Graduates will be able to understand and assess their own software engineering capabilities and performance.
